본 연구는 ChatGPT와 같은 생성형 인공지능이 사회 전반에 확산되기 시작한 2023년부터 2024년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 AI 윤리 관련 연구 361편을 대상으로, 동향 분석과 키워드 분석, 잠재 디리클레 할당(LDA) 기반 토픽 모델링을 수행하여 주요 담론과 주제를 심층적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 생성형 인공지능이 본격적으로 등장한 2023년을 기점으로 관련 연구가 급증하였으며, 교육학 및 법학 등 사회과학과 인문학 분야에서 활발하게 진행되었다. 둘째, 문헌 주제를 토대로 연구 영역을 분석한 결과, ‘인공지능 윤리에 대한 교육’과 ‘법․제도․규범’ 관련 연구가 높은 비중을 차지하였으며, 특히 교육 영역에서 초등교육을 중심으로 인공지능 윤리교육의 필요성과 실천 방안에 대한 논의가 두드러졌다. 셋째, 키워드 분석 결과, ‘교육’, ‘책임’, ‘도덕’, ‘리터러시’ 등 윤리적․사회적 가치가 인공지능 윤리 연구의 중심 개념으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 영역별 토픽 모델링을 수행한 결과, ‘인공지능의 윤리’는 존재론적 성찰과 책임 윤리를, ‘인공지능 활용의 윤리’는 사회․공공․산업 영역에서의 가치 재정립을, ‘교육적 활용에 대한 윤리’는 교사와 학습자의 인식 및 교육 실천을, ‘윤리에 대한 교육’은 교육과정 통합과 수업 적용 전략을 중심으로 논의가 전개되었음을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 AI 윤리 담론의 통합적 이해를 제공하고, 향후 윤리 교육 및 정책 개발의 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study conducted a trend analysis, keyword analysis, and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA)-based topic modeling on 361 academic papers on artificial intelligence (AI) ethics published in Korean journals from 2023 to 2024, where generative AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, were widely adopted. The findings are as follows. First, research on AI ethics surged in 2023, coinciding with the emergence of generative AI. Research was actively conducted in the social sciences and humanities, encompassing education and law. Second, domain analysis based on the literature themes found that a significant portion of the research was conducted on “AI ethics education” and “laws, institutions, and norms,” with particular emphasis on the necessity and practical strategies for AI ethics education, especially in elementary education. Third, keyword analysis identified core ethical and social values, such as “education,” “responsibility,” “morality,” and “literacy,” as central concepts in AI ethics research. Fourth, topic modeling by research domain indicated that discussions on “ethics of AI” focused on logical reflection and responsibility ethics; “ethics in the use of AI” emphasized reestablishing values in social, public, and industrial sectors; “ethics in educational applications” addressed teachers' and learners' perceptions and educational practices; and “educational ethics” examined curriculum integration and instructional strategies. The study's results provide a comprehensive understanding of AI ethics discourses, suggesting implications for the future development of ethics education and policy initiatives.
