이 연구의 목적은 가족돌봄청년이 경험하는 가족돌봄의 맥락과 패턴을 파악하고자 하는 것이었 다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 이 연구에서는 대리위탁가정의 보호대상자였다가 청소년기부터 조부모인 가족을 돌보게 된 청년 5명을 대상으로 심층면접을 통해 자료를 수집하고, 질적 연구접근 중 하나인 맥락-패턴 분석방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 사례별 맥락-패턴 분석과 통합된 맥락-패턴 분석결과로 구성하였다. 사례별 분석에서는 각 연구 참여자의 생애과정을 담은 패턴과 가족을 돌보게 된 상황을 반영하는 맥락을 중심으로 이들의 경험을 기술하였으며, 이후 전체 사례의 경험을 반영하는 통합 맥락-패턴 분석을 실시하고 그 결과를 기술하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 가족돌봄청년과 그 가족의 삶의 질과 복지수준을 향상시키기 위한 개입을 기획하고 추진할 때 고려해야 할 정책과 행정, 실천 수준의 지침들을 제언하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the context and pattern of family care experience experienced by young carers. To achieve this purpose, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 5 youths caring families from adolescence, and analyzed by applying the context-pattern analysis method which is one of the qualitative approaches. The results were composed of case-by-case context-pattern analysis and integrated context-pattern analysis. In the case-by-case analysis, each participant’s experience was described focusing on the context that reflects family caring situation and the pattern of life process, and then an integrated context-pattern analysis reflecting the experience of all cases was conducted. Based on these results, policy, administrative, and practical guidelines to be considered when planning interventions to improve the quality of life and welfare of young carers and their families were suggested.
