생물 교육에서 가치탐구를 위한 웹 기반 토론장의 개발

Abstract

As an alternative to face-to-face discussion in the classroom, a web-based discussion dealing with bioethical issues was developed following the steps of web-based discussion model for value inquiry in biology education. This was consist of six sections (guidance room, value inquiry problems, material room, discussion room, closure room, and Q & A). Also its practicability as an alternative to face-to-face discussion and as an instructional method dealing with bioethical issues was examined. For this, pre and post questionnaires were administered and interviews were hold with 46 students who had taken part in web-based discussions on six bioethical issues through the web-based discussion classroom. In conclusion, the biology instructions using web-based discussion classroom could be a good alternative to the face-to-face discussion and an acceptable instructional method dealing with bioethical issues.
