연구 목적: 이 연구는 지역주민들의 우울수준에 영향을 미치는 개인, 가족, 사회적 요인들을 모두 포괄하여 살펴봄으로써 주민들의 정신건강 증진을 위한 지역사회 차원의 대응방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 광역시 사회조사 자료를 활용하여 만 15세 이상 183만 9,863명의 응답을 대상으로 지역주민 우울수준과 그 결정요인을 밝히고자 SPSS 27.0 프로그램을 통해 개인, 가족, 환경 요인을 단계적으로 투입하는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 연구결과 개인관련 변인들 중에서는 신체 건강이, 가족관련 변인들 중에서는 가족관계 만족도가, 환경관련 변인들 중에서는 주거환경 안전도가 우울에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 결론 및 제언: 이에 지역차원에서 의료보건 서비스 및 건강관리, 신체활동 기회를 제공하는 데에 초점을 맞출 필요가 제기된다. 또한 가족관계 회복을 위한 사회복지 및 상담서비스 및 도난･범죄로부터의 안전이나 주거내 안전사고의 위험으로부터의 대비책 등 주거환경의 안전성을 높이기 위한 노력이 필요하다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This study aims to suggest community-level measures to improve the mental health of residents by comprehensively researching individual, family, and community factors that affect the level of depression of community residents. Therefore, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted on individual, family, and environmental factors through the SPSS 27.0 program to identify the level of depression and its influencing factors in the response of 1,839,863 people aged 15 years or older using the data from a metropolitan city social survey. As a result of this study, it was analyzed that physical health among individual variables, satisfaction with family relations among family variables, and safety of the living environment among environmental variables had the greatest relative influence on depression. Accordingly, there is a need to focus on providing medical health services, health care, and physical activity opportunities at the community level. It is necessary to make efforts to improve the residential environment, such as social welfare and counseling services for the recovery of family relationships, safety from theft and crime, and countermeasures against the risk of safety accidents in the dwelling.
