연구 목적: 이 연구는 불안정 애착 유형 초심상담자들의 역전이 극복 경험 과정을 분석하여 어떠한 어려움에 직면하고 대처하며 변화해 나가는가를 설명하는 실체이론을 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법: 불안정 애착 경험이 있으면서 친밀관계 경험척도에서 불안정 애착에 해당하는 초심상담자 9명을 대상으로 반구조화 인터뷰 질문으로 심층 면접을 실시하였고 근거이론 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 내용: 연구 결과, 136개의 개념, 69개의 하위범주, 25개의 범주가 도출되었다. 중심 현상을 중심으로 패러다임 모형이 도출되었고 핵심 범주는 혼돈 속에서 수동적이고 무의식적인 패턴을 반복하다가, ‘나를 알아차리고 적극적으로 대처하게 되면서 이해와 성장의 길로 나아감’으로 밝혀졌다. 불안정 애착 유형 초심상담자의 역전이 극복 경험의 과정은 시간 흐름에 따라 ‘혼돈’, ‘과거 패턴의 반복’, ‘수동적 대응’’, ‘알아차림’, ‘적극적 시도’, ‘이해와 수용’, ‘변화와 성장’의 7단계로 설명할 수 있다. 결론 및 제언: 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 불안정 애착유형 초심상담자들의 내적 변화 과정에 대한 논의와 제한점에 대한 제언을 하였다. 본 연구는 전 생애적 발달 관점에서 불안정 애착유형 초심상담자가 경험한 역전이 극복과정이 어떻게 이루어지는지에 대해 심층적으로 밝히고, 상담자들의 개인적 성장과 전문성 발달에 대한 함의를 제공했다는 면에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present empirical theories that explain the difficulties faced, dealt with, and changed by analyzing the process of overcoming the countertransference of unstable attachment in novice counselors. In-depth interviews were conducted using semi-structured interview questions for nine novice counselors who had unstable attachment experiences and were subject to unstable attachment on the scale of intimate relationship experiences. Data were analyzed using the grounded theory method. As a result of the study, 136 concepts, 69 subcategories, and 25 categories were derived. A paradigm model was developed around the central phenomenon, and the core category was found to repeat passive and unconscious patterns in chaos before moving on to the path of understanding and growth as they recognize and actively cope with the issue. The process of overcoming the countertransference of unstable attachment in novice counselors can be explained in seven stages: “confusion”, “repeating past patterns”, “passive response”, “awareness”, “active attempt”, “understanding and acceptance”, and “change and growth”. Based on the results of this study, discussions on the internal change process of novice counselors with unstable attachment types and suggestions on limitations were made. This study is meaningful in that it revealed in-depth how the overcoming process was achieved through the countertransference experienced by a novice counselor with an unstable attachment type from a life development perspective, providing implications for the counselor's personal growth and professional development.
