본 연구의 목적은 음성적 접근법과 음운적 접근법을 결합하여 구성한 통합적 조음치료가 장기간 고착화된 오조음 개선에 미치는 효과를 알아보고, 취약한 음운 체계에 긍정적 변화를 가져오는지 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해, 설유착증으로 인한 설소대 절제 수술 이후에도 조음음운장애가 지속되었던 학령기 아동 3명을 대상으로 단일사례 실험설계를 사용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지 단계에 걸쳐 목표 음소의 자음정확도를 측정하였고, 전반적인 말소리의 자음정확도와 음운변동에 대한 사전‐사후 평가 결과를 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 목표 음소 및 전반적 말소리의 조음 정확성이 증가했으며, 음운변동에 개선이 있었다. 이 결과는 통합적 조음치료가 학령기 아동의 말소리 오류 감소뿐 아니라 음운처리를 촉진할 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the integrated articulation treatment that combines phonetic and phonological approaches on the repairment of fixed misarticulation, and to find out positive changes in weak phonological system. A single case experimental design was used to measure the percent of correct consonants of the target phonemes across baseline, intervention, and maintenance phases for three school-age children who have articulation and phonological disorder due to ankyloglossia even after frenotomy. And the pre- and post- evaluation of general speech sounds and phonological processes were comparatively analyzed. As a result, the articulatory accuracy of the target phonemes and general speech sounds increased, and there was improvement in phonological processes. These results suggest that the integrated articulation treatment not only reduce speech sound errors but also facilitate phonological processing in school-aged children.
