음악치료사의 동료 수퍼비전 이해와 역량강화 경험에 대한 연구

초록

본 연구는 음악치료사의 동료 수퍼비전에 대해 살펴보고, 임상현장에서 동료 수퍼비전이 치료사의 역량강화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 음악치료전공 박사재학 이상의 음악치료사 7명을 연구참여자로 하여 포커스 그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 실시해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 FGI 내용을 모두 전사한 후 Krueger & Casey(2009)가 제시한 분석방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 3개의 주제와 9개의 범주, 49개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구를 통해 음악치료사는 동료 수퍼비전을 통해 지식 습득과 지지, 자기통찰을 경험하고, 전통적인 수퍼비전에서의 한계를 보완하는 등 긍정적인 측면을 경험함과 동시에 동료 수퍼비전에서 동료의 역량부족과 부적 감정 경험들도 나타남을 알 수 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze peer supervision of music therapists and to examine how peer supervision affects the capacity building of therapists. In this regard, the data was gathered by conducting the study in the form of Focus Group Interview (FGI) with seven participants, who were more than PhD course in music therapists. Data analysis was conducted by applying the analysis method suggested by Krueger & Casey (2009) after transcribing all FGI. In the study, 3 themes, 9 categories, and 49 sub-categories were introducted. Through this study, music therapists experienced positive aspects such as acquiring knowledge, supporting, and self-insight through peer supervision, and supplementing the limitations of traditional supervisions. In the meantime, peer supervision can also see insufficient capacity of the peer and negative emotional experiences also appear.
