연구 목적: 청소년의 공동체의식이 다문화 수용성에 미치는 영향에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 확인하고, 다문화 수용성의 증진을 위해 개선방안을 찾아 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 방법: 대구･경북 지역에서 재학 중인 중학생과 고등학생 830명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하고 SPSS와 AMOS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 내용: 본 연구의 내용은 첫째, 공동체의식의 수준이 높을수록 다문화 수용성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기효능감의 수준이 높을수록 다문화 수용성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 공동체의식과 다문화 수용성의 관계에서 자기효능감은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 결론 및 제언: 청소년의 다문화 수용성의 증진을 위해서는 공동체의식과 자기효능감의 증진에 기반을 두는 중재 프로그램 도입의 필요성을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy on the effect of adolescents’ sense of community on the multicultural acceptance and to provide basic data, by finding out how the multicultural acceptance can be improved. This study administered questionnaires to 830 students enrolled in junior high and high schools located at Daegu and Gyeongbuk and analyzed the data by using SPSS and AMOS. The findings are as follows: First, the higher the sense of community, the higher the multicultural acceptance. Second, the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the multicultural acceptance, and it was verified that the self-efficacy has a partially mediating effect on the relationship between the sense of community and the multicultural acceptance. This study discussed the necessity of the intervention program based on the enhancement of the sense of community and self-efficacy, to improve adolescents’ multicultural acceptance.
