한국인과 중국인의 방위역 및 인지모형 선택의 비교 고찰

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the differences between the choice of Directions and the choice of cognitive models when Chinese and Korean people understand and express spatial relationships. In choosing a Direction, Koreans think of the Direction inside the object, but Chinese people have obtained the result that they think of the relationship between the object and the outside, that is, Direction outside the object. In choosing a cognitive model for determining left and right directions, Koreans chose Single-file model that determines the left and right directions of the object by projecting the observer’s left and right directions to the object, while Chinese chose a face-to-face model that personifies the object as a person facing the observer. In addition, it was confirmed that this difference in cognitive path selection was reflected in the language expression of Korea and China, showing a difference. However, due to the limitation that the survey targets in this paper are limited, it is naturally judged that it is unreasonable to generalize, and the limitations of such research are that more systematic and all-round research should be conducted through big data in the future.
