The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the biology field-trip inquiry program on environmental literacy and scientific attitude of elementary preservice teachers. The study subjects were two classes of science education department of two different national university of education, experimental group was the one applied the biology field-trip inquiry program, otherwise comparison group was the other one not applied the biology field-trip inquiry program. The results of this study were as follows. First, the biology field-trip inquiry program influenced significantly the improvement of environmental literacy of elementary preservice teachers. The cognitive, affective and behavioral domains of all 3 sub-domains of environmental literacy were improved. Second, the biology field-trip inquiry program influenced significantly the improvement of scientific attitude of elementary preservice teachers, especially criticism, cooperativity sub-domain of scientific attitude.
