한국 애니메이션 시나리오의 서사(Narrative)작법에 관한 연구

Abstract

A Study on the Narrative Technique in Korean Animation Scenario Yang, Kyung-mi Lecturer / Sang Myung University Animation is the leading sector of film industry and high value added cultural industry because of its big linkage effect to other industries, such as television, film, game, toy and stationary industries. In this paper, the problems and strategies of Korean animation scenario are analyzed. Animation scenario should be written within the narrative or story framework such as imagination, character of actor, event and backdrop. The story should be consisted by these three factors. When it might be a successful scenario, it could affect to the other industry like character business and furthermore it could affect to the audience impressively. One of the shortcomings of the Korean animation scenario is the lack of the narrative technique. For the three narrative factors, the imagination is needed essentially, however Korean animation scenario does not have enough imagination with sensibility. Moreover, the characters of the actors are not created successfully. These problems result the lack of reality of Korean animation by separating the film from the real story. Besides these problems, it does not give the impression to the audience, because of the poor plot of the story. Therefore, the narrative technique of scenario should be developed to increase the competitiveness of Korean animation industry and the artistic ability of Korean animation.
