Abstract

Social responsibilities and ethical regulations on environment safety management system activities as well as obtaining qualified human resources and customer satisfaction management are essentially required as the key strategies for development of a corporate. Nowadays, due to the increasing importance of a company's responsibilities on environmental safety, international standards related to safety and environment are widely adopted. Thus, all the organizations of a corporate monitor the effects of their activities, products, and services on environment and reflect this their environment policies. By doing so, they collect their major ability to obtain and prove environment achievement. This is because the environment laws are becoming strict and economic or other means that stimulate the protection of environment are developing and the persons concerned are getting more interested in environmental problems and sustainable growth.Therefore, the shipping companies have to basically consider the following summarized issues of this research;First, they have to establish the consistency of the organization's goals and internal environment by setting up clear management objectives. Particularly shipping companies have to present sustainable environment safety policies. Second, they need to collectively manage the organization of controlling vessels' environment safety and its activities understanding that 80% of marine accidents are caused by human mistakes.Third, as the management process of environment safe activities is conducted based on the professional theories such as analyzing risk factors, selecting the management methods and practice, and the analysis and evaluation of the environment safety management result, it is highly needed to retain vision and strategies to secure competent professionals.
