항만자유무역지역을 중심으로 한 국제물류체계의 강화는 우리나라 항만물류산업에 새로운 방향을 제시하고 있다. 우리나라 정부는 항만자유무역지역 활성화에 노력을 기울이고 있으나 그 핵심요소인 외국기업 유치에 한계를 느끼고 있다. 이런 측면에서 본 연구는 우리나라 항만자유무역지역에 효과적인 기업유치의 일환으로 동북아 교역구조 분석을 통한 항만자유무역지역 유치대상 기업과 기능 선정을 목적으로 한다. 동북아 역내 무역구조 분석을 통해 자동차, 전자산업 등이 유치대상이고 해당 산업군의 구매조달물류센터, 크로스도킹센터 등이 주요 유치모델이 될 수 있다.
Abstract
Korea is actively seeking to be a logistics hub in Northeast Asia in order to capture the benefits from the logistics markets of the region. To achieve such aim, Korea government is planning to create distriparks in major ports. Hardware supply of logistics facilities is as important as operational strategies of managing distriparks in the software perspective. The objective of this study is to provide target enterprises for enhancing the competitiveness of port distriparks in Korea. As the result of the analysis, electronics, automobile and machinery are the target industries for enhancing Korean distriparks. The results are summarized as follows. The electronics industry needs a distribution hub at a port to supply the parts and distribute products since the factories of the finished goods and the parts are scattered around the world for achieving low production costs whereas the automobile industry demonstrates a new technology of module production so the requirement of CKD centers at ports is more prevalent in the future. The machinery industry requires logistics facilities for JIT operation at production. Finally, several policies should be pressed forward to enhance the competitiveness of Korea's logistics industry through the distriparks.
