한국 해양경찰 관련 연구 동향 분석 : 학술 논문을 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to search for ways to improve future tasks through the analysis of research trends related to Korean maritime police - focusing on journal articles. For this purpose, the data were collected from the 125 articles related to Korean maritime police in 5 major electronic journals using keyword search, and a contents analysis was used based on the analysis standards (year·time series, journals, researchers, research fields, and research methods). The results of the contents analysis revealed that the number of articles related to Korean maritime police was increasing after 2009. For the journal, most of articles were published in social science- and agricultural․fisheries․oceans-related journals. For the number of researchers, the rate of single-author research is a little higher than that of multiple-author research, and the proportion of professor is the highest in the position of authors. For the research field, more than the half of the articles were written related to maritime police administration and maritime police practice fields. For the research method, the literature review was more frequent than the empirical study. From the above results, to develop the research related to Korean maritime police, the improvement of both the volume and the quality of the research and the continuity of the research activation are required. Finally, limitations of this study are the restriction of analysis object articles, the intervention of subjectivity concerning selection of articles and analysis process.
