경찰체력시험의 상대적 중요도에 관한 잠재프로파일 분석과 체계적 문헌고찰

초록

본 연구는 경찰 체력시험에 대한 현장 경찰관들의 의견을 종합해보고 경찰 체력수준에 관한 해외사례를 분석하는데 주요 목적이 있다. 상기의 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 연구 1과 연구 2를 구분하여 진행하였다. 연구 1에서는 현직 경찰관을 중심으로 경찰 체력 시험에 대한 의견을 종합한 뒤 잠재 프로파일 분석과 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석을 적용하였고, 연구 2에서는 해외(미국, 영국) 연구논문을 체계적으로 수집하고 고찰하였다. 연구 1의 분석결과를 요약해 보면 우선 현직 경찰관들에게 100m, 1,000m, 팔굽혀 펴기 등등의 상대적 중요도를 평가한 뒤, 잠재프로파일 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 4개의 잠재 집단이 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 경찰 체력 중요도에 따른 잠재계층의 설명 요인을 분석하기 위하여 다변량 로지스틱 분석을 실시하였다. 마지막으로 연구 2에서는 경찰 체력에 관한 미국과 영국에서 진행된 연구의 체계적 문헌고찰을 진행하였다. 선정된 선행연구 연구대상의 일반적 특성, 체지방, 유산소 능력, 근력, 순발력, 근지구력, 유연성, 민첩성, 스피드 등을 체계적으로 고찰한 뒤 분석하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to gather and analyze the viewpoints of on-duty police officers regarding the police fitness test and to examine foreign cases associated with police fitness standards. To accomplish the stated research goals, this study carried out two separate research efforts: Study 1 and Study 2. Study 1 synthesized the perspectives of police officers on police fitness tests through latent profile analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Meanwhile, Study 2 systematically reviewed research papers from the US and UK to provide a comprehensive examination of foreign cases regarding police fitness levels. The results of Study 1 revealed that incumbent police officers evaluated the relative importance of various components of the police fitness test, such as 100m, 1,000m, push-ups, etc. The study then conducted a latent profile analysis and identified four potential groups. A multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to examine the explanatory factors of the potential groups based on the perceived importance of police physical strength. In Study 2, a systematic review of previous studies on police physical strength conducted in the United States and the United Kingdom was conducted. The review analyzed the general characteristics, body fat, aerobic ability, muscle strength, quickness, muscle endurance, flexibility, agility, and speed of the study participants.
