초록
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of burnout experiences among clinical nurse educators. Methods: Data were collected between October 2024 and November of 2024 through in-depth individual interviews with 10 participants who had been working as clinical nurse educators for at least one year through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis method. Results: Burnout experiences of clinical nurse educators were categorized into four themes: overwhelming workload and isolation of responsibility, endless cycle of repetitive training, paradox of expectation and neglect, and pressure of self-imposed professional expectations. Conclusion: Findings of this study provide a deep understanding of burnout experience among clinical nurse educators. Addressing burnout requires not only individual stress management, but also systematic organizational support at an institutional level.
