기록유산을 활용한 전통문화콘텐츠 개발 - ‘조선시대 使行文化 콘텐츠 개발’ 사례를 중심으로

소장 기록유산이 지닌 이러한 문화콘텐츠 소스로서의 가치를 주목한 한국국학진흥원에서, 일찍부터 소장 자료의 디지털화를 통해 이를 영구적 보존하는 한편 학술인프라의 구축을 통한 국학연구의 활성화와 다양한 대중적 콘텐츠의 개발을 통한 전통문화의 보급에 주력해 왔다. 이 사업은 1단계 디지털화에 해당되는 소장자료 DB화 사업과 2단계 디지털화인 소장 자료 활용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 구축사업으로 나눌 수 있다. 그 가운 중에서 ‘조선시대 사행문화 콘텐츠 개발’ 사업은 ‘조선 사신들의 눈으로 본 세계와 문화’라는 컨셉트 아래 '사행使行'을 종속적이고 굴욕적인 대중국 외교가 아니라 주체적인 시각에서 문화교류와 실리외교를 추구했던 행사로 재조명하기 위한 의도에서 기획되었다. 구체적으로는 사행의 전말을 기록한 기행문인 40종의 대표적인 사행록使行錄을 콘텐츠화함으로써 조선시대의 국제교류에 대한 일반인의 이해를 높이고, 나아가 사행록에 담긴 풍부한 이야기 요소들을 발굴해 문화콘텐츠 창작자에게 새로운 창작소재를 제공하려고 했다.
Abstract
The record heritage is very important as the source of culture contents. Highly evaluating this, since 2000 KSAC(Korean Studies Advancement Center) continuously has accomplished the projects of data digitizing. Through this, KSAC has pursued eternal conservation of the record heritage, constructing infra of research on Korean Studies and the popularization of the tradition culture. This culture content illuminates SAHENG, the diplomatic event of CHOSUN Dynasty under the subject of the world and culture seen by the eyes of CHOSUN envoys, because SAHENG is not a humiliating diplomatic event but subjective event of cultural exchange and utilitarian diplomacy. Through this project, 40 kinds of account of CHOSUN envoys´s trip were developed to digital culture contents. This contents will contribute to the understanding on international alternating of CHOSUN Dynasty. And the abundant story materials in the account of CHOSUN envoys´s trip will play the role of new creation material.
