성재일기에 나타난 16세기 재지 사족의 교유 양상

본 논문은 성재 금난수(1530~1604)의 『성재일기』를 통해 16세기 재지 사족들의 교유 양상을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 지금까지 문집을 중심으로 이루어진 금난수의 교유 관계에 대한 연구는 주로 이황과의 학문적 관계에 주목해 왔다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 금난수를 객체가 아닌 주체로서의 입장에서 이황과 조목이라는 절대적 존재에 의해 규정 지워진 삶을 사는 것이 아니라 자신의 의지에 의해 스스로 영위해 가는 삶의 모습을 교유라는 관점에서 밝혀 보고자 한 것이다. 이런 관점에서 퇴계학단을 중심으로 이루어진 도학적 동반자로서의 교유 관계, 지금까지 거의 조명되지 않았던 출사 시기의 교유 관계, 고산정을 중심으로 이루어진 일상생활 속에서의 교유 관계를 일기를 중심에 놓고 문집 자료를 보조적으로 활용하면서 분석해 보았다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the social intercourse patterns of 16th-century local confucianists through Geumnansu(1530-1604)'s Sungjae Diary. Until now, the study on the social relations among the confucianists, centered on literary collections, has focused mainly on the moral philosophy. However, this study aims to clarify the self-governing life of Geumnansu by self-will rather than the life defined by Lee Hwang and Cho Mok from the standpoint of the social intercourses. In this regard, this paper has studied the companionship as the partners of moral philosophy centered on Toegye school, social intercourses in the period of government office, and social intercourses in daily life centered on Gosanjeong. I used the Sungjae diary as the main text for this analytical work and used his literary collections as supplementary text.
