Abstract

For the deep research of Confucian poetics of Pre‐Qin period or Shijing, the 29 pieces of Kongzi-Shilun that are bamboo inscriptions of Chu(楚) during Zhanguo(戰國) period and was bought from Hongkong and collected by Shanghai Museum in 1994 have a necessary character as first‐hand materials. Furthermore, these pieces can also be the most basic research materials for antediluvian culture that is related to Kongzi-Shilun, thus provides evidence of the most reliable cultural relic. Shijing and study of Shijing is not only Chinese culture’s kernel, but also kernel content of Korean ethical culture that has been emphasized traditionally by Confucianist in Korea that accepted China’s ancient books including Four Books and Three Lections(四書三經). Therefore, the newly excavated bamboo inscriptions of non‐founded Kongzi-Shilun have momentous significance for domestic research of Shijing or history of Chinese Classics and classical literature and other research aspects. Moreover, Guanju, the first canto of Guofeng of Shijing, describes love songs that a man feels love towards a woman and pursues the love, but emphasizes that the man should temperate himself with courtesy. Thus for this reason, in my opinion, the word ‘yi(攺)’ of ‘yi(攺) of Guanju(〈關雎〉 之攺)’ in Kongzi-Shilun that is a kind of excavated bamboo inscriptions should be explained and replaced by the word ‘yi(怡)’, and in this case, it will comparatively accord with the basal content of Guofeng of Shijing that is the congratulation for new‐marriage.
