초록
The purpose of this study was to find the emotional responses in patients with schizophrenia using CRDI(Continuous Response Digital Interface). 59 patients with schizophrenia and 61 normal control group were recruited. This study compared the various emotional responses between two groups using CRDI. A classical piece was used for this study, 'Dichter und Bauer' Overture by Franz von Suppe, with the playing time of 9 minutes 40 seconds. This study applied for a device measuring emotional response caused by music, used CRDI enabling to measure emotional response while listening to music on a real-time basis and quantified time-series data from CRDI. For Visual analysis and statistics processing to deal with data related to study issues, independent sample t-test were employed. The results of t-test on emotional response to music of stimulative area according to the two groups were a significant difference. And no significant difference appeared in emotional response to music of sedative area. And the results of visual analysis on emotional response to music in patients with schizophrenia were very restricted. According to the results of this study, features of emotional responses of patients with schizophrenia were inadequate affect with blunted affect and restricted affect.
