청소년의 자기노출, 사회적 지지 및 의도적 반추가 외상후 성장에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 외상을 경험한 청소년의 자기노출과 사회적 지지가 외상후 성장에 주는 과정에서 의도적 반추가 매개효과를 갖는지를 밝히는 것이다. Calhoun과 Tedeschi(2006)가 제안한 외상후 성장모형인 자기노출과 사회적 지지가 상호작용하여 의도적 반추를 매개로 외상후 성장으로 가는 경로를 검증한 결과, 노출이 의도적 반추와 외상후 성장으로 가는 경로는 유의미 하지 않았고, 사회적 지지가 외상후 성장과 의도적 반추로 가는 경로와 의도적 반추에서 외상후 성장으로 가는 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지지와 외상후 성장과의 관계를 의도적 반추가 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해 외상을 경험한 청소년들은 사회적 지지가 의도적 반추를 촉진하고 외상후 성장을 가져오는데 중요한 변수임을 확인하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the mediating effect of intentional rumination in regards of the relationship between posttraumatic growth, posttraumatic adolescents’ self-disclosure, and social support in Calhoun and Tedeschi’s(2006) model. The direct mediating effect of disclosure going toward intentional rumination and posttraumatic growth was not significant, while the mediating effects of social support toward posttraumatic growth and intentional rumination, and intentional rumination going toward posttraumatic growth were both significant. The results further indicate that intentional rumination partially mediates the relationship between social support and posttraumatic growth, thus confirming the importance of social support variable in order to promote intentional rumination and posttraumatic growth, especially for posttraumatic adolescents.
