자해행동 청소년을 위한 단기개입 프로그램 개발 및 효과

본 연구는 자해행동 청소년을 대상으로 그들의 자살생각, 공격성 등을 감소시키고, 정서인식·표현 및 정서조절 능력을 증진시키기 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현장요구도 설문조사, 현장전문가의 FGI 및 자해행동 청소년의 심층면담을 토대로 8회기 자해행동 개입 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 자해행동 개입 프로그램을 처치집단에 실시하고, 자살생각, 공격성, 정서인식·표현 및 정서조절 능력에 대한 사전-사후-추후 시점에 따른 비교를 통해 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 양적분석을 실시하였으며, 경험보고서 및 개인별 면담자료를 통해 양적분석 결과를 보완하였다. 자살생각, 공격성, 정서인식·표현 및 정서조절의 사전-사후-추후 검사 점수 간 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검증(Wilconxon’s Signed-Rank test)을 실시한 결과, 개발된 자해행동 개입 프로그램은 자살생각, 공격성을 줄이고 정서인식·표현 및 정서조절 능력을 증진시키는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention program designed to decrease self-harming behaviors in adolescents. To develop a self-harming behavior intervention program, planning, constructing, conducting, and evaluating the program were implemented. The final program consisted of 8 sessions comprised of three areas: emotional awareness, emotional expression, and interpersonal relationship coping strategies. Variable interest levels were compared three times in the experimental group (i.e., pre-post, and follow-up program). To determine its effectiveness, four primary areas were evaluated: suicidal ideation, aggressiveness, emotional awareness and expression, and emotional regulation. Findings showed the Self-harming Behavior Intervention Program significantly decreased levels of suicidal ideation and aggressiveness and increased levels of emotional awareness and expression. Findings and implications of this study are discussed.
