NCS(국가직무능력표준) 기반 심리상담 분류체계 개선 방안

Abstract

This study aimed to compare and enhance the classification systems used for psychologists, psychological counseling, and counseling in various international and domestic occupational tables, including the National Competency Standards(NCS). First, the study analyzed the process of linking the psychological counseling classification systems of the Korea Employment Classification of Occupations, the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations, and the International Occupational Classification, which were adopted by NCS. Second, the study compared the psychological counseling classification systems from(US, UK, Australia) with those of the NCS. Third, based on the results of this study, the problems of NCS psychological counseling classification system were examined in terms of a)comprehensiveness, b)hierarchy, c)exclusivity, d)affiliation, and e)universality. Fourth, through the literature and comparative review of domestic and international occupational classification systems, improvement of the NSC-based psychological counseling classification system was suggested. Finally, the limitations of this study and suggestions for further research were discussed.
