자기애가 관계중독에 미치는 영향: 비합리적 신념과 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 자기애와 관계중독과의 관계에서 비합리적 신념과 자기개념 명확성의 순차적 매개효과를 살펴보는 데 있다. 자기애의 특성에 따라 외현적 자기애와 내현적 자기애로 나누어 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이에 만 19세∼ 29세 초기 성인기에 해당하는 성인들 406명을 대상으로 외현적 자기애 척도, 내현적 자기애 척도, 관계중독 척도, 비합리적 신념 척도, 자기개념 명확성 척도로 구성된 설문을 이용하여 온라인으로 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 29.0와 Process Macro Model 6를 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외현적 자기애와 관계중독의 관계에서 비합리적 신념과 자기개념 명확성의 순차매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 관계중독의 관계에서 비합리적 신념과 자기개념 명확성의 순차매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결과를 종합하자면 자기애는 관계중독과의 관계에서 비합리적 신념과 자기개념 명확성을 통해 유의미한 순차매개효과가 있었다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점을 논의하였고, 연구의 제한점을 제시하였다.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the mediating roles of irrational beliefs and self-concept clarity in the relationship between narcissism and relationship addiction. Data were collected from a sample of 406 adults aged 19 to 29 using an online survey, which included the Narcissism Personality Disorder Scale, Covert Narcissism Scale, Relationship Addiction Scale, General Attitude Belief Scale and Self-Concept Clarity Scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and Process Macro Model 6. Findings indicate that a significant sequential mediation effect of irrational beliefs and self-concept clarity was observed in the link between overt narcissism and relationship addiction In addition, this mediating sequence was also significant in the relationship between covert narcissism and relationship addiction. Implications and limitations of these findings were discussed.
