본 연구는 Q 방법론을 통해 임상에서 간호경력과 더불어 개발되는 임상간호사의 직관에 대한 주관적 판단의 가치와 구조를 발견하는 데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. Q 모집단은 임상간호사 17인의 면담 및 준 구조화 설문을 통하여 구성하였으며, Q 모집단에서 선정된 30개의 Q 진술문은 임상간호사 30인을 P 표본으로 하여 분류되어, PC-QUANL Program을 통하여 Q 요인분석 되었다. 연구결과, 임상간호사의 직관은 임상경력을 통하여 획득된 임상적 앎의 형태로, 임상간호사가 직관을 구성 하는 참고 틀을 중심으로, 분석적 인과관계의 양상 구성, 순환적 사례비교의 양상 구성 요인, 효과적 간호사례의 연관 범주 요인. 사례별 반응종합의 범주 구성, 그리고 문제해결순위중심의 양상구성의 5개 임상간호사 직관의 Q 요인이 확인되었다.
Abstract
Intuition is a form of personal knowledge and defined as the ability to understand or know something by using feeling rather than by carefully considering the facts. Intuition of clinical nurse have been reported as an important tool in the practice of nursing. This research was conducted in an attempt to understand and to identify the subjective factors of clinical nurses’ intuition. Clinical nurses might formulate intuition in terms of subjective factors based on clinical experience. The research design was a Q-Methodological Approach. Q- population was formulated from non-structured questionnaire and interviews from seventeen experienced clinical nurses and thirty selected Q-statements were sorted by thirty experienced clinical nurses. This study identified 5 factors on clinical nurses’ intuition: (1) Analytic causal relation pattern formulating, (2) Circularly comparing cases pattern formulating, (3) Categorizing by connecting effective nursing cases, (4) Categorizing by integration of responses from cases, and (5)Priority setting for problem solving pattern formulating.
