음악치료사가 경험하는 윤리적 이슈에 대한 현상학적 연구

이 연구의 목적은 음악치료사의 윤리적 이슈와 관련된 경험을 심층적으로 살펴보고 윤리교육을위한 기초자료를 제시하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 연구참여자들은 한국음악치료학회 1급 자격과10년 이상의 임상경력을 가졌으며, 현재 활동 중인 7명의 음악치료사들로 구성되었다. Giorgi의현상학적 연구방법을 사용하여 참여자들의 면담내용을 분석한 결과, 83개의 의미단위, 19개의하위구성요소, 6개의 구성요소가 도출되었다. 6개의 구성요소로는 ‘치료사의 역량 및 책임과 관련된 윤리적 이슈 경험’, ‘치료적 관계와 관련된 윤리적 이슈경험’, ‘기관과의 관계와 관련된 윤리적 이슈 경험’, ‘윤리적 갈등경험이 미치는 인지정서적 영향’, ‘윤리적 갈등을 대처하기 위한노력’, ‘음악치료사들이 지각하는 윤리의 필요성’이 도출되었다. 마지막으로 음악치료사들의 윤리적 이슈 경험에 대한 연구결과의 논의점과 제한점을 기술하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to explore music therapists’ experience in relation to ethical issues in music therapy practice, and to provide basic information for ethics education. The participants consisted of seven professional music therapists with at least 10 year clinical experiences and longer, and they were certified by the Korean Music Therapy Association. As a result of the data analysis using the phenomenological method of Giorgi, 83 meaning units, 19 subcategories, and six categories were emerged. Six categories were ‘ethical issues related to the professional competence and responsibility’, ‘ethical issues related to the client-therapist relationship’, ‘ethical issues related to the employer-employee relationship’, ‘ cognitive-emotional consequence of ethical dilemma’, ‘dilemma coping strategies’, and ‘the necessity of ethics education the music therapists perceived.’ The implication of the findings and its limitations were provided.
