정서적 문식성 향상을 위한 정서 어휘 교육의 방향

감정을 언어로 표현할 때 가장 밀접한 관련을 맺는 것이 정서 어휘이다. 이 연구에서는 그동안 정서 어휘에 대한 교육이 국어과에서 어떻게 이루어져 왔는지 살펴보고, 정서적 문식성 신장의 관점에서 정서 어휘의 교육 방향을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 학급 교육과정과 함께 국어과 기능 영역의 성취 기준을 통합함으로써 학습자의 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 기능뿐 아니라 학술적, 개인적, 사회적 성공에 필요한 정서적 문식성의 핵심 기능의 발달도 꾀하고 있는 RULER 접근법을 소개하고, 구체적인 지도 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Emotion closely related to the language. In this study, I investigated how emotional vocabulary has been educated so far in Korean language arts, then in terms of emotional literacy, presented educational direction of emotional vocabulary. To achieve this purpose I introduced the RULER approach and its specific teaching method. The RULER approach integrates criteria of language arts and a curriculum of the class. It can help students improve their language skills and emotional literacy.
