Abstract

「Mujin Gihaeng」 is a story of Yoon Hee-jung attempting to spiritually integrate by gathering the fragmentation of separated personality through the journey of inner side. Cho, Park, Ha In-sook are all off-springs of Yoon Hee-jung. Yoon Hee-jung learns that they are a part of him through the journey of inner side. The process of meeting with his off-springs for Yoon Hee-jung has the implication of purification and healing of mental would by recognizing the personal aspects existed in his inner side. When looking at Yoon Hee-jung as the person who has the dissociative identity disorder, the destructive element of negative personality has to be adjusted and harmonized in defensive personality through the communication between the personalities to overcome the interference. However, Yoon Hee-jung wrote a letter to Ha In-sook, but torn off at the end of the novel that he was successful in meeting the inner side of his personality, the attempt of complete healing through communication with them was failed. Notwithstanding the fact, 「Mujin Gihaeng」 is a only work that brings out the unyielding search for establishing the ‘one’s own world’ and appearance of people who lost the self-ego under the force of reality simultaneously from the works of Kim Seung-ok (Ryu Bo-sun, 1991：297) that it has the implication of growth novel in the point of attempting to communicate by accepting the inner side of personality as a part of itself.
