이 글은 디카시의 문학 공간을 헤테로토피아 미학의 관점에서 재구성하고 생태시로서 디카시의 특성을 탐색하기 위한 목적을 가지고 있다. 그간 디카시는 사진으로 대표되는 영상언어와 시로 대표되는 문자언어가 결합한 뉴미디어 시대의 시 장르로서 급부상하였으나, 아직 생태시의 측면에서 제대로 주목받지는 못했다. 하지만 애초 디카시의 출현 자체가 자연이나 사물에서 촉발된 시적 영감, 즉 날시(raw poem)를 전제로 하고 있다는 점에서 디카시는 충분한 생태학적 가치를 내장하고 있다. 이 글에서는 미셸 푸코의 헤테로토피아 이론에 기대 디카시에서 일상생활의 공간에 대한 이의제기와 함께 그것과 차별화되는 대안적 공간을 탐색하고 있는 측면에서 생태시로서의 가능성을 엿보고자 했다. 이에 따라 이 글에서는 생태시로서 디카시의 특성을 주로 다음과 같은 두 가지 측면에서 살펴보았다. 첫 번째로, 디카시에서는 일상생활 곳곳에서 자연 파괴를 일삼는 문명의 폭력성에 대해 이의를 제기하거나 각종 비인간적인 폐해를 유발하는 문명사회의 구조적인 문제에 대해 비판을 제기하고자 했다. 이때 디카시에서는 일상의 현실 공간을 담고 있는 사진 안에서 그것과 다른 바깥의 장소를 창출함에 따라 독자들이 자연스레 생태 문제를 발견할 발판을 마련하였다. 두 번째로, 디카시에서는 일상생활에 놓인 자연과 사물을 재배치하여 공존, 상생, 연대의 가치를 추구하는 공간을 창조해내고자 했다. 이때 디카시에서는 사진에 나타나는 현실 공간과 사진과 인접한 바깥의 장소를 결합함에 따라 독자들이 자유롭게 생태적 상상력을 구가할 계기를 마련하였다. 이런 점에서 디카시는 일상생활의 공간에서 생태 문제를 둘러싸고 윤리적 성찰과 미학적 구현의 기회를 제공한다는 점에서 생태시로서의 가치를 다분히 가지고 있다.
Abstract
This article aims to reconstruct the literature space of dica-poem from the perspective of heterotopia aesthetics and explore the characteristics of dica-poem from the perspective of ecological poetry. Meanwhile, dica-poem has emerged as a new media era poetry genre that combines the visual language represented by photography and the written language represented by poetry, but has not yet received proper attention in terms of ecological poetry. However, since the emergence of dica-poem in the first place presupposes raw poem, which is poetic inspiration triggered by nature or objects, dica-poem has sufficient ecological value. This article aims to explore the possibility of ecological poetry by raising objections to the space of everyday life and exploring alternative spaces that are differentiated from it, based on Michel Foucault's theory of heterotopia. Accordingly, this article attempted to examine the characteristics of dica-poem as an ecological poetry mainly from the following two aspects. First, by questioning the logic of civilized society, which is lurking everywhere in our daily lives in the form of violence and danger, dica-poem provides readers with a foundation for naturally discovering ecological issues. Second, by rearranging nature and objects in everyday life, dica-poem creates a space that pursues the values of coexistence, mutual prosperity, and solidarity, thereby providing readers with an opportunity to freely express their ecological imagination. In this respect, dica-poem has great value as an ecological poem in that it provides an opportunity for ethical reflection and aesthetic implementation surrounding ecological issues in the space of everyday life.
