학령후기 아동의 자아존중감, 가족건강성 및 건강증진행위에 관한 연구

본 연구는 학령후기 아동의 자아존중감과 가족건강성, 건강증진행위를 파악하고, 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상은 초등학교 5학년 학령후기 아동 112명이며, 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 기술통계, 독립 t검정, 일원분산분석과 Scheffe’s test, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 학령후기 아동의 자아존중감은 평균 4.12±0.76점, 가족건강성은 4.18±0.77점, 건강증진행위는 4.26±0.45점으로 나타났다. 학령후기 아동의 건강증진행위는 자아존중감(r=0.63, p<.001) 및 가족건강성(r=0.70, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 학령후기 아동의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인은 가족건강성(β=.50, p<.001), 자아존중감(β=.32, p<.001), 건강에 대한 관심이 있는 경우(β=.22, p=.001)로 나타났고, 설명력은 61.6%였다. 본 연구를 통해 학령후기 아동의 자아존중감, 가족건강성, 건강증진행위 향상을 위한 학교 보건 교육프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate self-esteem, family strength, and health-promoting behaviors of late school-aged children, and to explore factors affecting health-promoting behaviors. The subjects of this study were 112 late school-aged children in the fifth grade of an elementary school. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s test, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The average self-esteem of late school-aged children was 4.12±0.76 points, family strength was 4.18±0.77 points, and health-promoting behaviors were 4.26±0.45 points. The health-promoting behaviors showed a positive correlation with self-esteem (r=0.63, p<.001) and family strength (r=0.70, p<.001). The factors influencing the health-promoting behaviors were family strength (β=.50, p<.001), self-esteem (β=.32, p<.001), and interest in health (β=.22, p=.001), and the explanatory power was 61.6%. It may guide the development of various health education programs in school to enhance self-esteem, family strength, and health-promoting behaviors of late school-aged children.
