이 논문은 베블렌으로 대변되는 제도주의의 전통과 맑스로부터 시작되어 오늘날 조절이론과 사회적 축적구조론으로 대변되는 정치경제학의 전통 사이에 대화의 가능성이 존재할 수 있는지를 검토한다. 내용적 유사상의 측면에서 이 두 이론은 서로 보완적이다. 한편 방법상의 측면에서 이 두 이론은 동태적으로 보완적인데 왜냐하면 제도경제학은 맑스 정치경제학의 고유한 문제들(결정론, 경제주의, 목적론)을 해결할 실마리를 가지고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 최근 맑스 정치경제학의 이론적 발전에 비추어보건대 이러한 동태적 보완성의 획득은 용이한 일이 아니다.
Abstract
This paper examines whether there can be possibility to dialogue between institytionalism and politocal economy. The former is represented by Veblenian tradition; the latter comes from Marx and in recent years represented by French Regulation and American Soeial Structure of Accumulation School. In trems of research subjects, two thoughts share strong complementarity.In Terms of methodology, meanwhile they are dynamically complementary because institutional economics has a clue to solve Marxian poleitcal economy's traditional problems; determinism,economismteleology. Nevertheless, recent theoretical development of Marxian political ecnomy tells us the difficulty in realization of gains from dialogue.
