북한 출생지 여성독립운동가 현황과 보훈 정책

본 연구는 북한지역에 출생지를 둔 여성독립운동가의 현황 및 활동양상을 분석하는 데 목적을두었다. 이를 위해 우선 서훈을 받은 여성독립운동가를 출생지역별로 구분하였고 대상자 중에서 북한 출생지 여성독립운동가의 지역별 분포와 운동계열별 특성 등을 파악하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 북한출생지 여성독립운동가는 서훈 대상자의 42%로 높은 비율을 차지하고 있었지만, 대상자에 관한 관심은 빠져 있다. 둘째, 북한 출생지 대상자의 운동계열은 고른 분포를 보였지만, 국내 항일부문과3.1운동, 광복군 부분이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 대상자의 활동 현황을 토대로 지리적. 활동적 특성을 고려하여 3.1운동 및 임시정부 활동 부문의 대상자에 집중했다. 3.1운동 부문의 대상자는 서훈훈격이 낮게 나타났고, 임시정부 부문의 대상자는 서훈 훈격이 높게 나타난 것으로 확인되었다. 그결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 북한 출생지 여성독립운동가에 관하여 향후 연구 및 정책 방향에 대해 제안하였다. 첫째, 여성독립운동가에 관한 다각적인 연구와 발굴이 필요하다. 둘째, 향후 여성보훈 정책의 정립을 위해 남북한 교류 및 연구의 확대가 필요하다. 셋째, 여성독립운동가 선양 활동의 폭을 넓혀 남북한, 한민족의 관점에서 활동의 다양화를 모색해야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the current state and the condition of activities of female independence activists born in North Korea. To do this, I chose the female independence activists that received a conferment of a decoration according to their birth locations, and within these decorated personnels, I analyzed the geographical diversity and characteristics in movement affiliation of North Korean-born female independence activists. As a result, first, 42% of North Korean-born female independence activists were decorated personnels, but there was a lack of attention towards them. Second, there was a great distribution in different affiliations of movement in North Korean-born decorated personnels, but the Korean Anti-Japan Movement, the 3.1 Movement, and the Independence Army showed the greatest amount. Third, we focused on decorated personnels from the 3.1 Movement and the provisional government activities based on the current state of their activities and considering geographical and active characteristics. The class of the decoration was proven to be low for 3.1 Movement decorated personnels, and the class of the decoration was confirmed to be high in receivers for provisional government activities. Based on these results, I suggested in this research the futuristic direction of studies and policies regarding the North Korean-born female independence activists. Firstly, a multilateral research and discovery of the female independence activists is necessary. Secondly, an interchange between North and South Korea and expansion of studies are necessary in order to establish a female rewarding policy. Thirdly, enhancement of movements of the female independence Activists should be broadened in order to seek diversity in activities from the perspective of both North and South Korea as one ethnicity.
