체육계열학과 수험생들의 대학 지원배경 분석

이 연구는 체육계열학과 수험생들의 대학 지원배경을 분석함으로써, 체육현장의 일선지도자들에게 진학상담의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있었다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 첫째, 체육계열학과에 지원하는 수험생들의 대학 지원배경 및 동기는 무엇인가? 둘째, 체육계열학과에 지원하는 수험생들의 대학 진학계획 및 진로는 어떠한가? 셋째, 체육계열학과에 지원하는 수험생들의 대학 선호경향은 어떠한가? 라는 연구문제를 설정한 후, 질적 연구방법을 통해 수집된 자료를 토대로 세부주제별 분류 및 그 결과를 도출하였다. 대학 지원배경 및 동기, 대학 진학계획 및 진로, 대학 선호경향 등을 분석한 결과, 여기에서 나타나는 문제의 대부분은 독립된 것이 아니라 국내의 독특한 사회적 분위기 속에서 파생되는 구조적인 문제였다. 따라서 종합논의에서는 ‘진로 및 진학상담’과 ‘선호 및 지원대학’이라는 두 가지 사안이 쟁점으로 부각되었다. 이를 근거로 하여 수험생들의 지원대학 및 진로지도에 있어서 고등학교 체육교사의 적극성, 체육계열입시학원의 유능한 체육지도자 채용 및 운용, 선호 및 지원대학을 고려한 수험생들의 보다 신중한 대학선택 등을 결론으로 제시했다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to offer the consultation data of career orientation to leaders of the sports field which was investigate the special quality of concerned to a school of higher grade who applicants of physical education college. In order to fulfill the purpose of this study, this study presented three research questions: first, what would be the educational background and the motive of applicants of physical education college?; Second, how would be the plan of a school of higher grade and career orientation of the applicants of physical education college?; Third, what would be the preference of the applicants of physical education college? Then, qualitative methodologies as dissertation, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews were employed for this study. As a result, most of the problems were structural faults; it is derived from a special situation of society in the country. Therefore, 'consultation of a school of higher grade & the career orientation' and 'a preference & an application college' are embossed in discussion. In conclusion, it was suggested that a positiveness of physical education teachers in high school, employment and use of the competent physical education leader in the physical educational institute, a careful selection considered a preference & an application college, etc.
