말뭉치언어학적 관점에서 본 감성표현 추출의 쟁점 - 사용자 리뷰 말뭉치를 중심으로-

초록

본 연구는 일반인 비전문가의 주관적인 평가를 나타내는 사용자 리뷰 말뭉치로서 의류 상품평과 영화 감상평을 수집하고, 고빈도 감성표현을 추출・분류함으로써 감성표현 추출과 자동 감성분석의 쟁점을 논의하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 각각의 말뭉치에서 1,000여 개의 감성표현을 추출하여 분석한 결과, 감성표현의 범주는 단어뿐만이 아니라 다양한 유형의 구 단위로 나타나며, 50% 이상이 구 단위인 것으로 분석되었다. 이를 통해 감성표현 전체를 고찰하기 위해서는 특정 품사 중심의 어휘 단위를 넘어서 구 단위 분석이 행해질 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 두 가지 주제 영역의 감성표현을 분석한 결과, 말뭉치의 주제 영역과 관계없이 공통적으로 나타나는 ‘주제 보편적’ 감성표현과 말뭉치의 담화 주제에 따라 달리 나타나는 ‘주제 특정적’ 감성표현을 구분할 수 있었는데, 주제 특정적 감성표현의 비중이 주제 보편적 감성표현보다 월등히 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 주제에 따라 감성표현이 다르게 추출되며, 형태가 일치하더라도 극성이 주제에 따라 달리 나타날 수 있음을 보여주며, 향후 자동 감성분석의 단계에서 장르와 주제 분야가 고려되어야 함을 보여준다.

Abstract

In this paper, we built two corpora of users’reviews (apparel reviews and film reviews) and analyzed high-frequency patterns to extract Korean sentiment expressions and discuss related issues. 1,000 sentiment expressions were extracted and analyzed. The results show that sentiment expression patterns include not only word units but also various types of phrase units. In fact, more than 50% of the sentiment expressions appear to be phrasal patterns; thus, it has been necessary to analyze the phrase units beyond specific parts-of-speech or word units in order to study all the emotional expressions. We also found that sentiment expressions include both ‘domain-general’ expressions and ‘domain-specific’ expressions. Sentiment expressions have been extracted differently for each domain and their polarity may differ depending on the domain, even though they are identical in form. This suggests that the characteristics of the review genre and its related domain areas should be considered when extracting sentiment expressions.
