金剛山 紀行詩歌의 山水 형상화 양상－栗谷의 「遊楓嶽」과 松江의 「關東別曲」을 중심으로―

이 글은 栗谷의 遊楓嶽과 松江의 關東別曲을 대상으로 하여 朝鮮 中期 士大夫 詩歌文學에서 山水를 形象化하는 樣相에 어떤 差異가 있는지, 그러한 차이는 왜 발생하는지를 밝혀보고자 했다. ‘自然美의 發見’이라고 명명되는 朝鮮 中期 士大夫 詩歌文學에서 형상화된 산수의 모습은 두 가지의 양상으로 나타난다. 그 하나는 자신이 접한 산수의 모습을 實景과 방불하게 묘사하려는 寫景山水이고, 다른 하나는 산수를 事實的으로 描寫하기보다는 작자의 內面에 일어난 情, 意, 興 따위를 드러내기 위한 媒介體로 선택된 造景山水이다. 이와 같은 差異는 ‘物’과 ‘我’ 중 무엇이 중심이 되어 표현되느냐 하는 形象思惟에서 비롯된 것이다. 즉 사대부 시가문학에 나타나는 寫景山水는 性理學的 形象思惟에서 ‘我’보다 ‘物’이 중시되는 因物起興的 思惟方式에 의한 것이고, 造景山水는 ‘物’보다는 ‘我’가 중시되는 托物寓意的 思惟方式에 의한 산수 형상화인 것이다.
Abstract
Aspects of the Depiction of Natural Scenery in Diamond Mountains Travel Poetry －Focused on Yulgok's Yupungak and Songgang's Gwandongbyeolgok－ Kim, Gwang-jo The goal of this paper is to shed light on the different aspects of how natural scenery is depicted in the poetic literature of Joseon Dynasty literati and determine how these differences came about. It was determined that there were two aspects of the depiction of natural scenery in literati poetic literature: imitative natural scenery, which described natural scenery in such a way that it closely resembled the actual scenery, and creative natural scenery, which represented natural scenery not as it was but as a medium for expressing the author's inner intentions and feelings. The differences between these two aspects of the depiction of natural scenery stemmed from differences in the way of thinking about depicting natural scenery. That is, in the poetic literature of the literati, imitative natural scenery was rooted in the Neo-Confucian idea of finding joy in nature itself, while creative natural scenery was rooted in the idea of ascribing meaning to nature.
