스웨디쉬마사지가 체형 관리에 미치는 영향 -하체를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 스웨디쉬마사지가 하체비만관리에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위하여 서울에서 20세 이상 40세 이하인 직장인 여성들을 대상으로 하체비만여성들의 대퇴부 둘레 변화와 BMI 수치 변화, 체지방량 변화, 관리 전 후의 혈압의 변화에 미치는 효과에 대해 살펴보았다. 첫째, 설문조사를 통하여 연구 대상자들은 비만에 대한 체형관리를 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구대상자에게 스웨디쉬마사지를 실시함에 있어 일시적인 혈압 하락과 대퇴부 둘레(R/L)의 감소가 관찰되었으나, BMI와 체지방량에는 거의 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 셋째, 스웨디쉬마사지를 이용한 하체 관리 후 만족도는 전체적으로 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이, 스웨디쉬마사지는 체형 슬리밍, 피부 개선, 신체 둘레 감소, 미용 등에 효과적인 것으로 확인 되었으므로 현행 법상 경락 마사지가 피부, 비만 관리실에서의 허용 여부가 확실하지 않은 이 시점에서 새로운 체형 관리 프로그램이 될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.
Abstract
In this vein, the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Swedish Massage upon physical fitness care focusing on the lower part of the body as an alternative to vital-energy-pathway massage and so on. Study findings are as follows:First, respondents think physical fitness care against obesity is an important matter. Second, the practice of Swedish Massage seems to lower blood pressure temporarily and decrease the average circumference of the femoral region gradually. But it is difficult to conclude that the change in the body mass index (BMI) and the body fat amount is derived from the practice of Swedish Massage. Third, as for the satisfaction of lower body part care by Swedish Massage, their overall satisfaction is high in general. In conclusion, the Swedish Massage has positive influence upon physical slimming, skin improvement, body circumference reduction, beauty culture and so on. Since current laws are uncertain in that whether a vital-energy-pathway massage is allowed at a skin or obesity care center or not, the Swedish Massage is seemingly an alternative program of physical fitness management.
