1970년대 한국 詩는 近代化와 産業化 과정에서 어떤 변모양상을 보여주었는가? 本稿는 鄭喜成과 金準泰의 시를 중심으로 詩創作 原理와 詩語의 變化를 고찰하였다.이들은 民衆言語를 詩語로 적극 끌어안음으로써 삶의 具體性에 접근하려고 노력했다. 日常言語를 통한 詩의 구성은 1970년대 시 창작 경향에서 주목할 만한 부분이다. 이들의 시에는 ‘換喩의 원리’가 작동하고 있기 때문이다. 시가 고도의 隱喩와 이미지 생성만을 추구했을 때, 구체적 삶과는 점점 멀어질 수도 있다는 사실을 이들 시인은 捕捉해 냈다. 1970년대 鄭喜成金準泰의 시가 다시 주목받아야 하는 이유가 여기에 있다. 鄭喜成金準泰 詩人은 시의 다원화와 관련된 탐색들을 일궈내 한국시를 풍요롭게 하는 데 기여했다. 필자는 이를 ‘換喩的 詩論’이라고 규정하고자 한다.
Abstract
A Study of the Poetics of Metonymy in 1970's Oh, Chang-eun What kind of changing aspect did the Korean poetry display during the 1970's, the period of modernization and industrialization? This study focuses on the poetry of Jung, Hee-sung and Kim, Jun-tae to observe the principal of creation of poems and the change of poetic words. In general, the poetic works of the period were difficult to understand. Jung and Kim however worked with the everyday language. It is very important to note that they displayed people's life style with realistic description using such language. Until the 1970's, Korean poetic circles laid stress on using metaphor and generating images. But Jung and Kim introduced the metonymy as the method of writing. In theory, the metonymy is related very much to the everyday language. Jung and Kim expressed people's suffering lives effectively using metonymy. Hence they reformed the writing of poetry in 1970's. I would like to define it as the 'poetics of metonymy'.
