本稿는 徐廷柱의 詩를 社會的 판타지의 측면에서 다시 읽는 것을 그 目的으로 한다. 서정주의 시를 사회적 판타지로 읽는 것은 하나의 記標를 판타지적 층위와 이데올로기적 층위 兩者의 측면에서 同時的으로 읽어내는 것을 의미한다.이러한 시의 판타지적 局面은 當代의 歷史的이고 社會的인 층위가 덧씌워지면서 이데올로기적 의미를 갖게 된다. 시를 구성한 言語 自體가 이미 사회적인 것이어서, 그 언어에는 그 언어를 發話한 詩的 主體의 立場, 地位, 態度뿐만 아니라 當代의 社會的 觀念 등이 깃들어 있다. 결국 시를 사회적 판타지로 읽는다는 것은 그 텍스트에서 판타지적 의미를 抽出하고 동시에 그 판타지의 역사적이고 사회적인 의미를 읽어 내는 것이다. 이에 본고는 서정주의 文學的 想像力과 當代의 이데올로기와의 關係를 糾明함으로써 서정주의 시세계를 살펴보고, 이를 韓國 現代詩의 想像力과 이데올로기의 關係 糾明에 필요한 지렛대로 삼고자 한다.
Abstract
Phantasy and Ideology of Seo, Jeong-ju's Poetry Jeong, Hyong-kun This dissertation pursues to reread Seo, Jung-ju's poems from point of view ‘Social Phantasy’. To reread Seo's poems as social phantasy is to read a signifier both phantasical stratum and ideological stratum. Poetry is a constructive and imaginational artifact by author. Imaginational artifact suggest not that the real world enters in the texts, but that the real world is constructed by author's imagination. Ultimately, to read poems as phantasy is to focus on unconscious phantasy produced when enunciating subject's desire is expressed by language. Phantasical stage gains a ideological meaning through the present age's historical and social stage. Poetic language is already social, because the positions, status, attitudes as well the present social ideals of the subject's are lodged in the language. After all, to read poetry as phantasy is extracting phantasical meaning at once historical and social meaning of the phantasy. Finally, this dissertation will explain interelation between Seo, Jung- ju's imagination and that period's ideology, between modern Korean poetry and ideology through this work.
