사회적 고립이 자살생각에 미치는 영향에서 자살하지 않는 이유의 조절효과: 고등학생을 대상으로

초록

본 연구는 사회적 고립과 자살생각의 관계에 대해 자살하지 않는 이유의 조절효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 경기 지역 인문계 고등학교 학생 280명의 자료를 연구대상으로 하였고 이복의(1993)가 개발한 사회적 고립 척도, Osman, Down, Kopper, Barrios, Besett, Linehan (1998)이 개발한 자살하지 않는 이유 척도(The Reason for Living Inventory for Adolescents: RFL-A), Reynolds(1998)가 개발한 자살생각척도(Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire: SIQ)를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 모든 통계분석은 SPSS 21 version을 사용하였으며 RFL-A의 조절효과를 보고자 위계적 회귀분석을 실시했다. 그 결과 첫째, 사회적 고립은 자살생각에는 정적으로, 자살하지 않는 이유에는 부적관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 사회적 고립과 자살생각의 관계에서 자살하지 않는 이유는 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 고립과 자살생각에 대한 자살하지 않는 이유의 하위 요인별 조절효과에 있어서는 가족동맹, 자살두려움, 자기수용, 또래 수용 및 지지 요인이 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고 미래낙관성은 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 사회적 고립을 경험하는 청소년의 자살 생각을 예방하기 위한 의미 있는 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to verify the moderating effects of The Reason for Living the relationship between Social Isolation and Suicidal Thoughts. For this, it utilized 280 materials of high school students who live in Gyeonggi-do Province. And Social Isolation Inventory, Reasons for Living Inventory (RFL-A) and Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire(SIQ) were used as measuring tools. Data analysis was done through SPSS 21 version. Hierarchical analysis was used to verify the moderating effects of The Reason for Living the relationship between Social Isolation and Suicidal Thoughts. The result in this study as follows : The first, Social Isolation has positive correlation with Suicidal Thoughts and negative correlation with The Reason for Living. The second, The Reason for Living moderated the relationship between Social Isolation and Suicidal Thoughts. The third, it is reported that family alliance, fear of suicide, self-acception, peer acceptance and support have moderating effects in the moderating effects of subfactors but Optimism for the Future has no a moderating effect. I hope this study provides meaningful informations to prevent having Suicidal Thoughts in high school students experiencing the sense of Social Isolation.
