본 연구는 청소년의 흡연, 음주, 인터넷 게임 이용의 공존이환이 학교 내 사회적 관계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 한국아동․청소년패널조사 2013의 중1 패널 4차년도 자료를 활용하여 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 그 결과로서 첫째, 공존이환을 포함한 청소년의 흡연과 음주는 각각 학교 내 사회적 관계에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 공존이환을 포함한 인터넷 게임 이용은 사회적 관계에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공존이환을 포함하지 않은 흡연, 음주, 인터넷 게임 이용 각각은 사회적 관계에 영향 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지위비행 1가지만 경험한 청소년의 경우 학교 내 사회적 관계에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났고, 지위비행 2가지 이상(공존이환)을 경험한 청소년의 경우에서만 학교 내 사회적 관계에서 유의미한 부적(-) 영향력을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 지위비행의 공존이환을 반영할 수 있도록 청소년복지 정책 및 실천의 시사점을 제시하고 후속연구의 방향을 제언하였다.

Abstract

Since prior research primarily focused on single status delinquency, there is a natural lack of research on comorbidity of status delinquency. In this regard, this study explores the influence of comorbidity among smoking, drinking and internet game usage on adolescents’social relations in high school. This study utilized multiple regression analyses of the 4th wave data(1st grade in high school) from the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey administered by the National Youth Policy Institute. The primary results of this study were as follows: First, while game usage with comorbid data did not have an effect on social relations, smoking and drinking with comorbid data negatively influenced among high school students. Second, smoking, drinking and internet game usage without comorbid data were not respectively associated with social relations among high school students. Finally, multiple status delinquencies(comorbidity) impacted social relations among high school students. Findings have implications for future youth welfare policy and practice by highlighting the importance of comorbidity in developing intervention programs for adolescents' status delinquency.
