사회복지사들의 아동·청소년 클라이언트에 대한 윤리적 신념과 경험: 이중관계를 중심으로

본 연구는 아동․청소년 클라이언트를 주 대상으로 하는 사회복지사의 이중관계에 대한 윤리적 신념과 경험 수준을 알아보기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위해, 아동․청소년 관련 기관에 근무하는 사회복지사 175명의 응답을 분석하였으며, 이들의 인구사회학적 변수와 소속기관이나 업무 특성에 따라 윤리적 신념과 경험에 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 전반적으로 신념에 비해 경험 수준이 낮았으며, 이중관계 유형(성적, 대가성, 개인적)에 따라서도 신념과 경험이 다르게 나타났다. 여러 변수와 속성 중에서 성별, 사회복지학 학위 소지 여부, 소속기관유형에 따른 차이도 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로, 아동․청소년 대상의 사회복지실천에서 요구되는 전문적 관계 설정을 위해 종사자 교육 강화의 필요성과 SNS 활용 가이드라인을 구체화하기 위한 단계적 절차 구성을 제안하였다. 향후 연구에서는 아동․청소년에게 해가 되지 않고 도움이 될 수 있는 전문적 경계와 관계 맥락을 파악할 필요가 있다
Abstract
This study aims to examine the ethical beliefs and experience levels of social workers regarding dual relationships with child and adolescent clients. The responses of 175 social workers employed in child and adolescent institutions were analyzed to determine if there are differences in ethical beliefs and experiences based on demographic variables and characteristics of their institutions. The analysis revealed that overall experience levels were lower than ethical beliefs, with variations observed across relationship types such as sexual, compensational, and personal relationships. Differences were also identified based on gender, possession of a social work degree, and type of institution. Based on these research findings, it is suggested to strengthen education for practitioners in the field of social welfare for children and adolescents to establish professional relationships and to develop step-by-step procedures for concretizing SNS usage guidelines. Future research should focus on identifying professional relationship and conditions that are not harmful but beneficial to children and adolescents.
