Abstract
The purpose of study was to investigate the effects of Behavior Chain Interruption Strategy on speech function of children with Cerebral Palsy. For the proper experiments of this study, three environments of art play, rest time, go home time in children's daily lives were chosen in order to employ a multiple baseline across setting. Behavior Chain Interruption Strategies including missing item format, wrong item format, delayed assistance and blocked response also used as an prompting procedure. The results of this study were as follows; First, Behavior Chain Interruption Strategy affected on the communication function of child with Cerebral Palsy positively by spoken language. Second, the increased performance in communication implement by spoken language through behavior chain interruption strategies was generalized in untaught routines. Third, the increased performance of communication function by spoken language was maintained up to 4 weeks after the intervention was finished.
