지체중복장애 거점 특수교육지원센터에 대한 특수교육 전문가와 부모의 지원요구 고찰

초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 지체중복장애 거점 특수교육지원센터의 효율적 운영방안을 모색하기 위해 지체중복장애학생 관련인의 특수교육지원센터에 대한 경험과 인식을 알아보고, 이를 토대로 지체중복장애 거점 특수교육지원센터에 기대하는 지원요구를 고찰하였다. 연구방법: 수도권 지역 내 지체중복장애 자녀를 둔 부모(3명)와 지체중복장애학생 교육경험이 있는 특수교사(2명)를 대상으로 개별심층면담을 진행하였고, 지체중복장애학생 지도 및 강의 경력이 있는 전문가(6명)와 초등 특수교사(3명), 중등 특수교사(3명)을 대상으로 포커스그룹면담(FGI)을 진행하였다. 모든 면담의 결과는 전사 후 지속적 비교법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 지도·양육상의 어려움, 도움이 되었던 지원, 지원요구, 지체중복장애 거점 특수교육센터에 대한 기대를 포함한 총 4개의 대주제와 19개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 결론: 연구결과를 바탕으로 지체중복장애 거점 특수교육지원센터의 효율적 운영방안을 다음의 네 가지 측면에서 제언하였다. 1) 지체중복장애 거점 특수교육지원센터의 역할과 운영 방향을 규정하기 위한 정책적인 접근의 필요성, 2) 지원 대상의 수, 지원 범위 등을 고려한 센터 및 업무 담당자의 수 조정, 3) 다양한 분야와의 협력 체계 구축의 필요성 및 지체장애 특수학교의 거점 센터로서의 역할 수행 고려, 4) 최우선 과제로서의 통합교육 지원.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate support needs on special education support center for the physical and multiple disabilities based on experiences and perceptions for those who are related to students with physical and multiple disabilities. Method: Individual in-depth interviews were conducted with three parents and two special education teachers. Focus group interviews (FGI) were conducted with six experts, three elementary special education teachers, and three junior high school special education teachers. All collected data were analyzed using a constant comparative method. Results: A total of four main topics including instruction·parenting difficulties, helpful support, support needs, expectations for special education support center for the physical and multiple disabilities, and 19 sub-topics were derived. Conclusion: Based on the results, implications and future directions were provided to prepare effective management plan for special education support center for the physical and multiple disabilities.
