도시 시각정보의 생산과 유통의 통합체계 연구 - 서울시 시각정보 현황을 중심으로 -

Abstract

The purpose of integrated systems for visual information of Seoul is systematizing the process of production and distribution of it so that the identity of Seoul can be promoted through the integrated organization among information, builder, and user. First, this study suggests an theoretical frame about the definition of urban visual information, its elements, the process of visualization, and medium. This study also analyzes the situation of production and distribution of visual information of Seoul, and finds the absence of consistency caused by administrative agencies’ separative management. This study understands the real state of visual information of Seoul from user standpoint through user itinerary evaluation, and suggests an evaluation checklist for seamless distribution of visual information. Thus this study proposes to establish an effective integrated system to develop the consistency and seamlessness of production and distribution of visual information.
