신체적 노화를 배려한 생애주택 관점에서의아파트 거주 노인 노후 주거 의식 연구

우리나라는 고령화가 세계적으로 가장 빠르게 진전되고 있고, 급증하는 노인 인구를 위하여 주택에 대한 발전이 시급하게 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 노인 인구가 가장 많이 살고 있는 주택유형인 아파트가 신체적 노화가 일어나더라도 자립적으로 살기 좋은 주거공간으로 계획하기 위해 아파트 거주노인의 의식과 요구를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 앞으로 일어나는 신체적 노화에 대응할 수 있는 주거계획에 대해 의식과 요구가 어떠한지 파악하고자 현재 신체적으로 건강한 아파트에 거주중인 60대를 대상으로 하였다. 먼저 기존 노인주택 디자인 지침에서 생애주택 개념의 범위에 해당하는 항목을 추출한 다음, 중요도를 평가하도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 보편적으로 현재 신체적으로 건강한 상황 때문에, 미래에 일어날 신체적 노화 상황을 크게 고려하지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 기존 주택에 거주를 희망하는 경우와 노후기간 이사를 희망하는 경우간의 의식 차이를 볼 수 있었다. 앞으로 노인인구가 많아질 미래에 대부분의 노인을 수용할 시설 및 병원의 수는 부족할 것으로 예상하여 자신이 살고 있는 주택이 이를 대체할 수 있어야 할 것으로 판단하여 본 연구의 결과가 아파트 단위 공간 계획에 있어 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.
Abstract
As Korea confronts one of the fastest aging societies in the world, it is urgently necessary to develop proper housings for the rapidly increasing elderly population. For this reason the purpose of this study is to find out the perceptions and needs of the apartment-living elderly people in order to plan apartments as good residential spaces where the elderly can live autonomously despite their physical aging. This study surveyed the healthy elderly people living in apartments in their 60s. The surveyed elderlies were asked to evaluate the importance after presenting them the items selected that belong to the items of lifetime home conception in the existing design guidelines for the elderly. The results of this study revealed that because the surveyed elderlies were healthy currently they did not think about the issue of their physical aging situation in future and they showed differences in their perceptions in case they hope to live continuously at their existing apartments and in case they hope to move to other residences for their aged years. This study will suggest the direction of planning for the unit spaces of apartments for the aged people in future.
