초록

이 연구의 목적은 메타분석을 통해 장애학생의 자기결정에 대한 중재프로그램의 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해, 장애학생의 자기결정에 대한 중재프로그램 적용 연구 중 동일집단 사전-사후 검사 설계를 적용한 연구를 선별하는 과정을 실시하였다. 분석에 포함된 논문은 20편이었다. 연구물을 종합하여 분석한 결과, 전체적인 효과크기는 1.486으로 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 범주형 변수별 분석결과는 다음과 같았다: 첫째, 학술지 미게재 논문보다 게재 학위논문의 효과크기가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다; 둘째, 자기결정력에 관한 중재 프로그램의 효과크기 1이상인 프로그램 유형은 자기효능감, 목표설정 및 선택하기, 자기결정모델, 자기결정 단계, 전환교육, 자기옹호, 기타 순이었고, 효과크기 1이하인 프로그램은 자기결정 훈련, 의사결정 교수 프로그램, 자기조절로 나타났다; 셋째, 자기결정 하위 구성요소에 따른 효과크기가 1이상인 경우는 목표설정 및 획득, 자기효능감, 자기조절, 자기인식, 자기옹호 순이었고, 효과크기 1이하인 경우는 기타, 문제해결, 자신에 대한 자기옹호, 선택하기, 조직에 대한 자기옹호, 자기관찰, 자기평가 및 자기강화로 나타났다; 넷째, 장애유형에 따라 발달장애, 지체장애, 정신지체, 학습장애, 주의력결핍과잉행동장애 순으로 효과가 나타났다; 다섯째, 평정자 유형별로는 부모, 대상자, 교사 순으로 효과크기가 나타났다. 여섯째, 학교급에 따라 고등학교, 중학교, 초등학교, 전공과 순으로 효과크기가 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 특수학급이 특수학교에 비해 효과크기가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연속형 변수에 대한 회귀분석 결과 중재기간이 길고 지능지수가 높을수록 프로그램 효과크기가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of interventions for promoting self-determinations for students with disabilities through a meta-analysis. 20 articles of pre-post test in one sample were included for analysis. The overall effect size for all studies was 1.486 positive effect. The results from analysis according to categorical variables were as follows: First, the effect size of published dissertation was lager than unpublished articles; Second,interventions for promoting self-determinations were greater than 1 effect size of self-efficacy, goal setting and attainment skill, a model for self-determination,steps to self-determination, others. Interventions for promoting self-determinations were less than 1 effect size of self-determination training, decision making program, self-regulation; Third, self-determination with sub-components were greater than 1 effect size of a goal setting and attainment skill, self-efficacy,self-regulation, self-awareness in order. Self-determination with sub-components were less than 1 effect size of other, problem solving, individual self-advocacy,choice-making, system self-advocacy, self-observation/self-evaluation/reinforcement;Fourth, the effect size of the type of disability was larger developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, mental retardation, learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; Fifth, the effect size of the type of evaluator was larger parents, participants, teachers in order. Sixth, the effect size of the type of school was larger in high, middle, elementary and transition school. And special school were more the effect size than special education class. The result of our fixed-effects regression analysis by age was that effect size was increased according to duration and mental age. More individual studies of interventions for self-determinations should be accumulating in order to generalize effects.
