이 연구는 지식재산 전문대학원의 교육과정을 개발하기 위해 수행하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 국내․외 지식재산 전문대학원의 교육과정을 탐색하였고, 국내 다출원 기업의 지식재산 담당자들을 대상으로 지식재산 교과목 필요도를 조사하였다. 이론적 탐색과 설문 결과를 바탕으로 도출한 지식재산 전문대학원 교육과정 설계안에 대하여 지식재산 전문가에게 타당성을 검증받았다. 지식재산 창출, 활용, 보호 분야의 전공과목에 대한 필요 정도는 모두가 보통 이상인 것으로 나타났으며, 공통 과목의 필요도는 보통 이상인 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 지식재산 창출 분야는 연구개발, 특허 정보 검색 및 분석, 첨단 기술과 지식재산에 대한 이해 등이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 지식재산 활용 분야는 특허의 가치를 인식하고 이를 관리, 경영 할 수 있도록 하기 위해 평가, 협상, 경영 전략 등이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 지식재산 보호 분야는 지식재산 관련법인 특허법, 상표법, 디자인법, 저작권법 등과 이에 관한 소송과 분쟁에 대한 전문적 지식 등이 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 지식재산 공통과목으로는 직무 발명과 법률적 기초 지식, 지식재산에 관한 법규에 대한 이해가 필요한 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 지식재산 전문대학원의 교육과정 모형은 3개 트랙(지식재산 창출, 보호, 활용)이 12개 모듈로 구성하고, 지식재산 창출 26개, 보호 23개, 활용 18개의 하위 교과목을 배치하였다. 교육과정의 이수는 전문가 공통형과 전문가 심화형의 두 가지 과정으로 이루어진다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to develop a curriculum on a intellectual property related(below IP) schools. To achieve this purpose, a study was performed a documentary records research and questionnaire survey with specialist in the field of IP. The obtained conclusion is as described below. Firstly, most of the domestic and abroad education on IP was attached too much the importance to the protection of IP. A education of creation or conjugation on IP was insufficient. Secondly, the learning needs of the specialist in the field of IP of enterprises was high and they needed business practices of creation or conjugation on IP, especially. Thirdly, the developed curriculum was verified by the experts on IP. And that one was consisted of the three categories and 12 modules. Students can complete a master of IP in the two directions, one is common-expert and the other is improved-expert. The developed Curriculum on IP shouldn't be fixed on every situation. The results can be changed and be improved in the multiple situations.
