이 연구는 디자인적 관점에서 발로한 지식시각화를 활용하여 정보의 양적 팽창의 문제를 구조적으로 해결해보고자 한다. 디자인적 관점은 공학에 기초한 정보 구조 이론과 인문사회학적 커뮤니케이션 이론과 달리 사용자의 직관을 중요시하며 효과적인 표현과 의미전달을 목표로 한다. 정보의 양적 문제로 인해 발생하는 사용자의 이해와 해석의 문제점에 있어서 정보보다 주관적이며 상위의 가치를 갖는 지식의 적용이 해법이 될 수 있다. 이 연구는 지식을 이용한 정보디자인 방법론인 지식시각화에 대한 분석과 정의를 하며, 지식시각화의 요소와 표현방법의 분류를 제안한다. 또한 지식시각화의 속성을 통해 지식시각화 프로세스를 설계하고 실질적인 적용이 가능한 프레임워크를 구성하였다.
Abstract
This study is an attempt to solve the problem that increased information by applying the knowledge visualization. The Design view has purpose that efficiently representation and meaning transfer unlike information structure theories based on engineering and human knowledge communication theories. Applying knowledge that higher value than information can be solution for solving problems of user’ understanding and interpretation by increasing information. This study tried to define and to analyze the knowledge visualization, and propose categorized the knowledge visualization elements and representation methods. Also by characters of the knowledge visualization, layout the knowledge visualization process and organize its framework.
