초록

본 연구는 성역할이론과 사회인지 진로이론을 바탕으로 여자고등학생의 성역할의 긍정적 측면인 여성성역할과 부정적 측면인 여성성역할갈등이 그들의 진로결정에 미치는 구조적 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 여성성역할과 여성성역할갈등을 독립변인으로, 부모진로지지와 의사결정의존성을 매개변인으로, 진로결정을 종속변인으로 하여 연구모형을 설정하고 검증하였다. 연구결과, 여자고등학생의 여성성역할과 진로결정은 부모진로지지를 통해, 여성성역할갈등과 진로결정은 의사결정의존성에 의해 각각 완전 매개되는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 여자고등학생이 여성성을 높게 지각할수록 부모의 진로지지가 높아지고 그 결과 진로결정수준이 높아지며, 여성성역할갈등을 높게 지각할수록 의사결정의존성이 높아져 결국 진로결정수준이 낮아진다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구결과는 여자청소년의 성역할과 진로결정 간 관계에서 여성성의 긍정적 측면뿐만 아니라 부정적 측면인 성역할갈등에도 관심을 가져야 함을 나타내는 것이다. 또한 여성의 성역할사회화가 진로발달에 미치는 영향에서 의사결정의존성과 부모진로지지가 위험요인과 보호요인으로 각각 작용할 수 있음을 나타내는 것이라 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의 및 시사점이 제안되었다.

Abstract

This study examined the relationships of positive aspects(feminine gender roles: FGR) and negative aspects(feminine gender role conflicts: FGRC) of femininity to parental career supports, decision-making-dependency and career decision in Korean female high school students with structural equation model(SEM). The results of SEM analysis about research model meaned that parental career supports mediated fully the relation of FGR and career decision and that decision-making-dependency mediated fully the relation of FGRC and career decision. This results suggested that positive aspects and negative aspects of femininity should be included simultaneously in the study to examine the effects of femininity on the psychological adjustment such as career decision. Implications and limitations of this study were discussed along with suggestions for future research.
