本文通过比较分析跨越不同时代和文化背景的花木兰相关影视作品，探讨了花木兰形象如何在东西方媒体中被不断重新解读和塑造。通过分析花木兰形象的演变，发现尽管所有作品均基于同一传说，但花木兰的形象从早期的传统英雄形象转变为现代的复杂角色，显示了性别角色、英雄主义等多方面的变化。这些变化揭示了全球化背景下文化交流和文化融合的复杂性，也带来了对性别角色和英雄主义的现代理解，这在花木兰形象演变的过程中表现得尤为明显。
Abstract
This paper analyzes how the image of Hua Mulan has been continuously reinterpreted and reshaped in Eastern and Western media through a comparative analysis of related film and television works across different eras and cultural backgrounds. The evolution of Hua Mulan’s image reveals that, although all works are based on the same legend, her portrayal has shifted from a traditional hero to a more complex modern character, reflecting changes in gender roles and heroism. These changes highlight the complexities of cultural exchange and integration in a globalized context and provide insights into modern understandings of gender roles and heroism, which are particularly evident in the evolution of Mulan’s image.
